TKS is growing rapidly.
Our ambition is crystal clear: To make our kickboxing-inspired workouts widely accessible, popular, and loved by people who aspire to live healthier, stronger, vibrant lives.
Our member community is the foundation of TKS. And that's where you come in! To realize our ambitions, we are looking for a Lead Member Services who won't stand on the sidelines, but will dive right into the action and set the course for the next phase.
You will manage a small, motivated team (1.5 FTE) and lay the foundations for a member service that grows alongside us in the Netherlands and abroad. This is a role for someone who is confident, dares to make tough decisions, and doesn't shy away from the real work: daily contact with members, improving systems, resolving bottlenecks, and professionalizing processes.
You are the driving force behind a service experience that is as personal as it is efficient. You determine how we grow, but at the same time you work hands-on. No ivory tower—just vision, decisiveness, and an operational mindset.

- Ensuring an accurate and up-to-date membership database, including registrations, cancellations, and trial lessons
- Direct contact with members via telephone, email, and social media
- Professional and effective resolution of complaints and complex cases
- Systematically collecting and analyzing feedback and FAQs to improve our services
- Developing procedures, guidelines, and systems that ensure scalability and consistent quality
- Managing and improving our membership system, including the app. You will be the point of contact for our partner in this regard and will actively collaborate to improve and optimize the system.
- Working closely with management and marketing to align operations and plans
- Actively contribute to the development of TKS as a scale-up, with room to grow in responsibilities and scope.
Who are we looking for?
- HBO working and thinking level
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent command of Dutch and English
- Experience in hospitality and/or customer service
- Demonstrable vision on professionalizing customer processes
- Not afraid to get involved in day-to-day operations
- Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, initiator, and focused on improvement
- Flexible in mindset and approach
- Experience in managing a (small) team is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience within a startup or scale-up is an advantage.
- An affinity with sports, fitness, or kickboxing is an advantage.
Working hours and location
- Flexible hours, generally Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Because we are a gym chain, work outside office hours or on weekends may occur.
- Location: Head office in Bussum, with occasional visits to other locations (working from home occasionally is negotiable)
What do we offer you?
- Free unlimited training at all TKS locations
- Travel expense reimbursement
- The opportunity to play a key role in the growth and professionalization of TKS
