About The Kickboxing Society

The Kickboxing Society (TKS) is a rapidly growing organization with now 9 Clubs throughout the Netherlands and the ambition is to make more of them soon.

The Kickboxing Society is a high-energy fitness experience based on kickboxing where you work on your strength, fitness, flexibility and perseverance in a group setting with inspiring coaching and uplifting music in a beautiful environment. For anyone who loves a challenge and longs for a powerful, vital, strong and energetic body combined with a clear mind.

We target a wide audience, from children to the elderly. Anyone who wants to get fit in an approachable and safe environment.

 

Club Manager

Binnen TKS werken we met een gedreven team. Op dit moment is er ruimte voor uitbreiding in ons team voor Clubmanagers op verschillende locaties.

As Club Manager, you are responsible for the ins and outs of your Club. In the first place you are responsible for the classes we offer to our members, and you will also be responsible for the lessons. That way you are in direct contact with the members and you know better than anyone what it means to provide a fitness experience.

In addition, you are the point of contact for employees within your Club and for members. You will ensure that everything runs smoothly and that members want to stay and you will create opportunities to grow your community. The Club Manager is also the Club's link to the head office and you will meet on a weekly basis to make it a success.

 

Responsibilities

Associated responsibilities include;

  • Het zijn van het gezicht van de Club(s) door aanwezigheid en het verzorgen van een flink deel van het totale lesaanbod (75% van contracturen)
  • You are able to teach children's classes in addition to adults and can also engage and enthuse (entertrain) that target group.
  • Both reactively and proactively ensure membership growth while also thinking outside the box (including clinics, events and municipalities and businesses for example)
  • Both reactively and proactively ensure membership retention, also thinking outside the box (strengthening community, atmosphere and sociability at the Club)
  • Zorgen voor binding en stimuleren van de community. En het waarborgen van kwaliteit en een positieve medewerker- en klantbeleving van de desbetreffende Club(s).
  • Ensuring a profitable Club. You will ensure a good balance in terms of rostering and purchasing
  • Managing the daily operations within the Club, including e.g. planning class offerings, hygiene and safety and if applicable the bar
  • Ensuring maintenance and operation of all materials at the Club
  • Directing and supervising other coaches (and other staff as appropriate). Recruitment, induction, training and development of coaches may also be part of the position.
  • Participation in events externally and internally, and training programs (within the TKS Academy) outside working hours. In this, you fulfill an exemplary role to your team.
  • Function as an ambassador of TKS to environment, colleagues and members and always looks neat and tidy.

 

What we expect from you

As a club manager, you are actually a co-entrepreneur. You need more than a 9 to 5 mentality and will also work evenings and weekends.

In addition to being a good coach for adults, you will also need to be a keynote in providing Kids classes. The submission of VOG is part of the application process for this purpose.

Before you can start as a Club Manager at TKS, you will be offered a training program (free of charge).

  • Dienstverband: Parttime of Fulltime
  • Uren: 20-40 per week (afhankelijk van Clubomvang)
  • Werklocatie: Een van onze vestigingen in Nederland
  • Working Hours: Flexible between Mon - Sun. Evening and weekend availability required.
  • Salary: €2,500 - €3,250 per month obv 40 hours.
  • Secondary: Internal training, vacation allowance and travel reimbursement
